1.7LB Closed Cell Foam

Our 1.7LB closed cell foam is a low viscosity, 1.7 pcf density insulating material. This 1.7LB spray foam is designed to provide significant control of air infiltration along with a high R-value per inch.

This closed cell foam is a two component, light density, one to one by volume spray applied polyurethane foam. To produce this two component spray foam requires the use of an “A” component (ISO) and a blended “B” component (RESIN), which contains ZERO ozone depleting blowing agents, catalysts, polyols and fire retarding materials. This spray foam insulation system designed for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications. Use in lieu of more traditional forms of insulating materials such as fiberglass, cellulose or other loose fill products.

ESTIMATE THE NUMBER OF SETS NEEDED FOR YOUR PROJECT:

To estimate the number of sets you will need to calculate the total square footage of all surfaces TO BE SPRAYED and subtract the square footage of your openings like windows, garage and exterior doors.

Next, calculate for the volume of you project, and multiply the area by the depth of the stud or cavity depth. Finally, divide the total volume of the area TO BE SPRAYED by the material YIELD PER SET.

You will need to round up to the higher number of WHOLE sets required to complete your project.
