How One Spray Equiment Supplier is Tipping the Roofing Industry on their Heads

Expandothane is one of the few roofing products on the market to offer extreme flexibly and durability, all while providing the tightest waterproof seal possible. A completely seamless, self-flashing system Expandothane is easy to apply, will dry in seconds and can be walked on in minutes when applied at 2.5 gallons per hundred square feet (40 wet mils). The material may be applied as a secondary roof covering over Metal Roofs, Modified Bitumen, BUR, Concrete, Spray Urethane Foam, or as a protective covering on foundation walls prior to being backfilled with dirt.

In order to ensure proper application, the foam’s manufacturer, Spray EZ Equipment and Coatings insists that the applicator first clean the substrate of any debris. Application can then begin with either the manufacturer’s Cartridge Gun or with a High-Pressure Plural Component machine (proportioner) capable of reaching 1,500 PSI at 120 degrees Fahrenheit such as the Graco E-30, PMC Ph-55, or Spray EZ 3000.
